Common Signs of Oral Cancer
Sores, lumps or thick patches of irregular skin around your mouth are all signs of cancer in your mouth. Also, any red or white lesions that appear in your mouth could point to oral cancer.
Oral cancer can also cause you to feel like you have a lump in the back of your throat, and cause you pain, swelling or numbness in your mouth, even on your tongue. You should look out for a sore throat that does not go away, and trouble moving your mouth and jaw too. These common symptoms appear for a number of different reasons, but oral cancer is one of them.
