What is an Oral and Facial Surgeon?Oral and maxillofacial surgery, also known as oral & facial surgery, requires an additional 4 years of study after a traditional 4-year dental school curriculum. This four-year residency consists of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Falk and Dr. Krieger manage a wide variety of problems relating to the teeth, mouth and facial region. Areas of expertise include dental implant placement, wisdom tooth removal, tooth extraction, bone grafting, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, and intravenous sedation.
Dr. Matthew J. KriegerDr. Matthew Krieger attended Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington where he studied pre-dental and medical sciences in addition to receiving his BA in Spanish. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Krieger moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Dr. Jesse J. FalkDr. Falk was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he graduated high school and completed 2 years of undergraduate training. He met and married a Las Vegas native and subsequently moved to Las Vegas where he attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and received his BS in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies he was accepted to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Read more about Dr. Falk
